Baumstriezel am Dom in Erfurt

A few months ago, my wife and I discovered this gem at Erfurt Cathedral and have since become addicted to the Baumstriezel. Now every time I stay in Erfurt for work, I bring 10 tree sticks home for my wife (Bamberg)! Just delicious!

For us, it is the best tree pretzels there are in Erfurt. We are from Munich and whenever we are in Erfurt, Baumstriezel is a must 😊 The small shop can be found directly in Erfurt on Domplatz on the cathedral steps. It couldn't be more central 😉. You can usually sit inside, but unfortunately this is currently not possible due to Corona. The tree sticks themselves are a real treat and always worth a sin. Nice and warm and fragrant. The price for € 3.50 is absolutely fair. The sellers are always very nice too. We always like to come back 👌

Delicious Baumstriezel in a central location directly at the Erfurt Cathedral. Large selection of different varieties (almond, brittle, crumble, etc.) Always a pleasure and a tip for every visitor to Erfurt.

Unfortunately, the store is no longer findable. Pity!

Very tasty striezel. Great selection of toppings. Nice personel. Generally a bit overpriced. And it lacks the selection "Nutella from inside" 🙁

A nice place to eat this wonderful tasty pastry decorated with sugar, all phason, coconut flakes, chocolates and colorful sprinkles, brittle, poppy seeds and possibly sesame.

Very nice staff and many different options as a topping for the 'Baumstriezel'. Very recommendable.

Very tasty and a very nice lady who served us. And now that I know that you can always eat delicious Striezel on Sundays (except for the cathedral festival) I come more often, mhhhhhh delicious!

Delicious striezel with different toppings. The best way to enjoy it hot is the best way to taste it. A good portion for € 3.50, also for sharing.
